I stopped in at the Nanaimo Opening of Cabelas last night and picked up a set of these rings that looked like they'd be good to mount my scope onto my AR.

Of course you have to practically destroy the product just getting the packaging opened up to see if it will work, so I'm seeking opinions from members who have experience with these. The 1" adapter 'inserts' appear to be rubber, which doesn't seem good. They may be steel, which'd be better.
Does the rings' height bring the scope up to your natural eye level?
The other big question is-- Will those QR bolts hold fast to the Pic rail, or will I end up with a wandering zero? ("Made in China")...

Anybody?

Stay away from anything sun optics. Duct tape is a far superior alternative

I dont want to p!ss in your soup but saving money on rings and bases/ mounts is not a good idea. Millet and leupold make decent rings.

For $45 bucks, they overpriced by about $42.50.

Garbage. You can buy a good set of rings for about that price. Tri-rail rings are ridiculous (and look ridiculous) and serve ZERO practical purpose.
