Hello

I am interested in trying this sport out. I am not familiar with the club or its membership information. If any members are out there and would like to help intorduce a newbie, please post here of send me a pm.

Thanks

You do not have to be a member to shoot either trap/skeet. In fact they allow non-members to shoot for the same price as members ($4.50 v $7.00) for their first 3 visits. I won't be out shooting again till next spring but there is generally someone around who will gladly take out a newbie and run them through the basics.

winnipeg is great I shoot skeet there but sporting clays is fun toooo...
try this out...

Deano, I'll be glad to go out and show you the ropes. I took Kevin out last fall and showed him trap and skeet. He shot quite respectably. But it's just no fun when it's -20C! Nonmembers are welcome, tho membership is cheap. I've only met helpful and friendly people out there.

Sunday (Dec. 11) is forecast for -10 or so, it may be worth a call to see if they'll be open then. Skeet needs open chokes, like IC or even no choke. Trap is best with Mod or Full. PM me with a phone number if you wish.

Hey, how about me!

Hi Guys;

Checked out the club in the fall and was quite impressed. Even went out and bought an o/u from a fellow CGNer and then pinched a nerve in my neck. Never made it out to try it, although I had great intentions. Everything is better now - so would love to get out and try as a newbie in January! If anyone would be willing to show me the ropes, drop me a PM and I'll send my contact info. Thanks.

Brad
