this is my first try at bear hunting , and a buddy of mine have a place set up at Manitoulin Island. i have been told by a friends dad (that owns a campground up there), that the bear population up there has been rising (i hear that the MNR has been relocating bears up to there). is this true, and what are your experiences hunting "the island"?
anyone bear hunt Manitoulin Island ?

I heard the same story about the bear relocation by the MNR.....Strangely enough I also heard it from a Campground owner...probably the same guy !
Not much experience with Bears out there myself....by the time I get there in November they are all napping.
