Anyone buy one of the Birch stock SKS for $164.95?

As the title says I'm looking for feedback on the Birch stock refurbs SFRC has on for $164.95.
I'm new to SKS's but this price seems awesome and I'm wondering what the differences I will find with this gun vs. A $200 laminate or a unissued chinese SKS.
Are these junk, are they reliable, are they ugly, will I be dissapointed?

well Ive had three in total a norc, the stock was crap since it was painted but functioned just fine just like all the others. I had to pick up the birch since it was on sale at SFRC and the only thing I could think of to complain about would be the initial cosmoline clean up... but that should be expected on most Soviet surplus stuff and for $169 why not its got the blade bayonet and it cleaned up very nicely. Im not sure if the bayonets are blued on that batch in particular but the one laminate I got had the blued bayonet so you wont know for sure until you ask and SFRC is very good IMO... very transparent

I purchased one from SFRC in December. I have put about 200 rounds through it so far. Never had a problem or a misfire or jam. The rifle was solid from the first shoot. The price is fantastic and definitely worth it. Marcy and Ryan will treat you right.
