anyone buy powder from Hummason MFG? his prices look really cheap

Hey just wondering if anyone orders powder from this guy, he has some crazy prices on his clearance flyer 1lb 4320 for 17 bucks or 8 lbs for 110 bucks

i just e-mailed him to see how much shipping would be on 8lbs of Varget, its listed at $163 iv never seen that anywhere, that $20 a lb

that's good to hear, i hope shipping is reasonable 8lbs of Varget will load 2208 rounds with my current load.

even if shipping is $40, its still way cheaper then what i can buy it for here (if they even have stock here)

anyone maill order from him before?

well if shipping is $40 and the Hazmat fee is $21, plus you haven't added any sales tax yet..........FS
 
I wish he was closer to me. He's about 20% cheaper than my local supplier.
If I get a couple of guys together to defray the shipping cost then maybe it would be worth it.
 
Every reloader I know around here seems to get at least some, if not all, their supplies from them. Never been myself, but they are highly recommended.
 
his prices for the most part are on par with lebaron, well the powders i use. though when you get the 8lb jugs then you will see some savings. sadly i don't use that much powder, yet!

I was suprised they say 2003 established. I thought I was buying from them a lot longer than that unless same place with new owners in 2003.
 
So I just heard back from hummason with the shipping cost. They will ship up to 400 lbs of anything they sell for $120. So i figure its not worth it unless you order at least 32 lbs of powder.

Mass order anyone near Winnipeg? 8 lb cans of Varget would come out to $27 a lb with tax and shipping in, if we order 4 8lb cans if more is ordered the price keeps going down

what i need to find is a shotgun club that wants to order like 50 flats of shot gun target loads to off set my shipping cost

Set up a group by from your area. Was involved in on a few years back and all went well. Hummansons waved the shipping fee for orders over 21 pounds...hazmat fee still applicable. Have to run this past site mods for approval though.
 
i bought from them back in the summer, paid debit, great prices, even deals at times just gotta call a day in advance to make sure they have it before you go in.

Or when some of us come from Ontario to shoot the MIC at CRAFM in January you could drop us a line and we could throw it in the car for ya.... :)
