Hello All;

I've contacted the great guys at Epps, and a number of other Sponsors and no-one has Taurus revolvers in stock. I'm looking for a Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casull. Any ideas on who might have them?

Thanks in advance for your help; have a great day.

why would they??? the guns are crap and the price is high for what it is, if i wanted to buy a cheap gun i would save the cash and buy a norinco.

SIR/Cabelas in Winnipeg still sell Taurus, but only list the PT99 model now.

Goble's in London and Tillsonburg is listing .454 Raging Bulls. $1122.50 for a 6.5" or 8.375" blued. $1185 for 5', 6.5" and 8.375" matte SS. $78.95 for the scope base. They say to contact 'em for availability. .454 ammo isn't cheap. Goble's may have that too though.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions so far - I have read a number of reviews on the guns, and many state that the guns are built and shoot well, while some admittedly aren't fond of them. I did contact Wholesale Sports, but they don't have any in and aren't sure when they'll be getting any more as the Canadian Distributor seems to be having some difficulty in getting them in Canada at this time. I will contact Goble's for sure.

No experience - No Opinion! :slap:

Taurus makes very good guns for the money compared to other makers. From my experience Raging Bull, PT1911 and PT92 are all well made, reliable guns! In fact 5” .454 Raging Bull is next on my handgun list…

The Canadian Importer is R.Nichols / FN Sports in Montreal - perhaps if you call them they can tell you a dealer they've sent one too. I get calls like that.

Pray you don't break it when you get it. One of my friends at FN says that getting parts out of the factory is like pulling hens' teeth.

Anyone who USUALLY cuts down *newer* Taurus oundies obviously doesn't 1) own one or 2) tried one.

YES their guns used to be cr*p, but not the recent ones. Everyone loves playing with my .45ACP Tracker and I never had a problem with it.

Mostly S&W snobs cut it down because I didn't spend $500 more for a Smith.

For what it's worth, I have a Taurus in .32 S&W Long that I wouldn't trade for any new Smiff & western, even if you offered $'s in the difference!

Like was stated, it didn't cost me an arm & a leg either.....:dancingbanana:

I'd be interested in the 24/7 OSS if anyone was bringing them in...(albeit, if the same company was bringing in spare parts as well)

I WAS interested in the 24/7 OSS. But, I lost the interest after reading several very recent stories about guns that are broke out of the box. Note, I am not bashing Taurus in any way. They have improved the quality but still it is a hit or miss. Since there is no service center here and getting parts out of USA is so difficult it is not a wise choice anymore.

Epps has the 24/7 PRO for $600 but paying that much for something that retails around $350 in US seems idiotic. And I don't understand why the Canadian prices for semi-auto tends to be almost same irrespective of the brand.

A Taurus and a Glock are the same price.

I havent put a whole lot of rounds thru this one, but it seems ok.. its nothing miraculous.. no better than any of the others. Build quality is not as good as my glock 22, M&P, or XD. At the time the price was right.
