All the locals are right out of 4895 and all they can do is shrug when you ask for an ETA. (I know, I know...they don't like it any better than we do...).

I've heard Higginson is the way to go for bulk buys on powder but I had heard they had an MOQ (minimum order quantity). Does anyone know what it is? I am thinking of biting the bullet and going for an 8 pounder of 4895...all I have that'll burn in the mighty M14 is 3031...and only one lb. of that!!!

Sheesh...times are gettin' tough out there...
 
Just ordered H 4895 from Hummason in Ancaster Ontario. You would have to call them to order. They don't take credit cards so sent me an invoice and I sent them a cheque. Ordered LT32 from Rusty Woods in BC, their web site shows what they have and what's on order. I am buying powder and bullets from 3 different provinces right now so I can have enough supplies to at least shoot part of the summer!! Ordered bullets from Raynershine in Saskatchewan, another great guy to deal with. All this comes at reasonable/ fair prices until you factor in the shipping/ hazmat charges but as you said.....Sheesh..times are getting tough out there!! The stuff is out there but you have to dig deep these days and lots of places are doing the right thing and selling smaller quantities to allow everyone to have some of what little they get. I have heard from dealers saying they are happy to get 10 % of what they order right now

Can't believe 22 ammo is even hard to get now!!

I've delt with, and can recommend them. They might not have what you want in stock at present though.....times are tough.

Free shipping if you manage to scrape together 21 pounds of powder you want. They're the soulmate of CGN group buys, when they have stock.

Word is that pickings on components might be running slim this year.
 
I've ordered a lot of powder from Higginsons and Hummanson. Right now you have to take what you can get, where you can find it.

Higginson has free shipping at 21 pounds or more. Humanson has lower prices, you pay for shipping.Break even is close to that 21 pound mark, then Hummanson gets cheaper. It runs about $135 to get an order to my place and it can be any amount up to about 400 pounds. The way I look at it, order 135 pounds and it ships for a buck a pound. I save more than that on tax.

If they don't have what you want, the price doesn't mean much.
 
Just spent about $900.00 two weeks ago for 4 guys in Ottawa, they all ordered with credit cards, I paid in cash at pickup. .223 V-max bullets at 250 were good price. Lots of 1lbs powder, but didn't have lot of 7lbs jugs left. Got my Lee Pot, Sizer and .50 cal mold all at once. No complaints very friendly in person. Check the website for instock powders, it is alway up to date. This was my first purchase from, but the others guys buy all the time. Mark
 
First time dealing with them about a month ago. Decided to drive over and check it out. Basically a counter operation, but Andrew was nice, had most of what I wanted, and drove away happy. Powder supplies were limited though, but lots of IMR4064.
