Anyone else buy a nicely priced ACOG this week?

There were some crazy deals on the EE this week. New aimpoint H1 $500 shipped and a mk25 with 5 mags, holster and light $750!
Both gone in under 10 minutes.

I'm not posting the details yet to protect the seller in the event it is a valid sale, but I'm just curious at this point.

I picked up the ACOG TA31 with ARMS #19LD from EE. Called Trijicon with SN and it was legit, manufactured in 2012, and ITAR approved export to Police Ordnance in early 2013. Seller had only 3 iTrader reviews but after a call, in person transaction and inspection of the optic, it was a great deal from another great CGN'er.

I would advise people to learn the difference between a real ACOG vs a FACOG (or Fake ACOG) from the Chicom counterfeiters. There's lots of FACOG's trying to passed off as the real deal. Get the SN and call Trijicon up on their 1-800# and they will tell you if it's legit and date of manufacture plus if it was ITAR approved for export.

Trijicon stated that if the ACOG was ITAR approved, then there will be zero issues in sending the optic back for repair work, such as replacing the tritium, and sending it back to Canada. ACOG's that do not have ITAR export documentation will not be allowed back out of the USA if sent to Trijicon for repair work. Buyer Beware!!!

Good info, thanks - it arrived and by all counts it looks legit. It functioned exceptionally well at the range - best 4x optic and clearest glass I have used.

Which ACOG did you acquire? Also, call Trijicon to get the manufacture date to know what's left of the tritium.
