The match was very competitive with good scores and strong performances. Rifles on the line included No.4(T), Moisins, and Garands. Earlier this summer an 1888 Commission Rifle took top honours and put much younger rifles to shame. The rule is shoot what you've got and what you've got reliable ammo for.
CGN's very own Tiriac was the RO and until a bug crawled up his sleeve, we thought he was running a perfect firing line. He recovered and later entertained with stories of Century Arms' warehouses.
There was discussion that the course of fire will start at 100 with a standing deliberate fire match. Otherwise, 200 yd deliberate and 200 yd snap, 300 yd deliberate and 300 yrd rapid, followed by a mad minute and an elimination match. Every one a challenge.
