Anyone Else Hate DUPLEX Reticle's?

Nothing like a wide duplex for low light hunting. I expect there are two camps. Those that target shoot mostly & those that hunt only. For targets fine lines work well. For hunting I would never go with fine lines. For me the heavy duplex is best. Each to their own.

try a german 1 for low light hunting even the 4 will be better than any duplex ...

I hate duplex reticles. The have always given me headaches.

My Eyes seem to get confused or have trouble focusing between the thicker and thinner area of the cross-hair.

I would prefer if the vertical hair ended half way up from the bottom instead of covering the top of the field of View.

I did have PRK laser eye correction a few years ago, but think I still didn't enjoy the duplex before that.

Does anyone else prefer not to use the duplex crosshair?

Any Opinions? or Experiences?

Regarding headaches from actual use, begs the question immediately IMO what did you pay for the specific optic? Or maybe you need to move that optic back or forward in the rings maybe??

If your answer is something equal to Bushnell B&L Elite, Burris or Leupold at the very least, you do know there is a focusing ring right? Use all available eye relief to suit yourself.

If you are using a Banner or King Optics, perhaps you deserve all that eye strain friend.
