I know most of us have a bunch of whishes and hopes orbitating Marstar, but is there anyone else selling the chinese goodies?
Are all of them bound to arrive on the same boat, and they share the same distributor, are they on separate orders - and therefore separate boats......

Please shed some light into a waiting and very impationt mind....

Depends on what model you are looking for.. Armco has some, Epps may still, Lever Arms does and a host of others. U may have to do some research..
dB:)

NP29 would be the first to look for. Marstar's waiting list is longer than the line at the bridge when they change the blanket color to orange.......

Don't forget Dark International. I htink they are in the process of stocking, but they sell it for a bit more, with speedy response to e-mails, unlike Marstar. Lever arms is in the same stocking boat.

The main reason why people buy from Marstar is not just their price, but the customer service if its a lemon. I don't buy from Lever Arms because of their too bad so sad idea of what they call customer service.

This doesn't mean I am a Marstar lover, as their inability to respond sometimes, while speedy response at others is frustrating, but they do stand behind what they sell.

I think marstar and lever are the only ones that buy direct. the others simply buy from marstar or lever and mark up .

Not true; Rodger (DARK International, mauser13@brant.net , based just west of Toronto) gets the guns from China, and his customer service and gunsmithing services are 110%.

My only experience with marstar was a 5 month wait for a custom order K100 which I gave up on after the 5 months. With Rodger, whatever I want/need, gets done immediately, no bull####. Sure his NP22 is slightly more expensive than Marstars, but hey, you get two mags, not just one, plus you can get extra ones too from him, together with a really nice trigger cleanup.

+1

He also took about an hour or so of his time to talk to us and answered all our questions when a friend and I dropped by to pick up 3 M305's.

That hour or so is the difference between a big warehouse operation and the local corner shop.

Just a note - if you have a local corner shop, support them - marstar offers discounts to them, that way you can get your chat and toys at the same time.
