Anyone ever build a custom on a tikka action?

im currently running a 308 Tikka in an XLR chassis, which will eventually be rebarrelled to 260Rem and im looking at a .223 for varminting and plinking. the thing i love the most about the Tikkas is how smooth the action is.
none of this 50lb lift force on the bolt handle, or actions feeling like they are filled with sand and grit.. the tikka is butter smooth and a dream to cycle

I agree on the action part. They really are "all-that". My T3 Sporter ranks amoung my favourite rifles in my collection, and I have more expensive specimens to compare it to. I have also grown very fond of the single stacked polymer mags. They are a bit noisy when feeding, but talk about smooth, effortless feeding! They don't bend, rust, and are super strong... what else can you ask for?

BTW, I hail from the other "colder" Hamilton.

hey my Hamilton gets cold, some days during winter i cant even wear shorts ;)

on the mags: im having a bit of an internal struggle whether to go for AI mags.. and honestly the capacity is the only thing setting the two apart.. i dont have an issue with the Tikka mags other than that. as you say, they feed very well
