I have a 303 british in the safe doing nothing. the steel is in good shape. I don't even know what model it is, its a lee enfield but its the one where the rear sight is on the action. the sights have been removed. barrel has 2 groves. it would not be a true scout as i'm thinking a red dot over the action, cause I have it, vs a scope over the barrel.
ati and boyds have stocks. does anyone have the ati stock? how is it, how is the fit? a certain review on the cabelas sight says his is all wrong in the recoil lug area. I sure like the look of the boyds.
ati also seems to make a rail. so that part is covered.
as far as dies go, I realise that neck sizing is the way to go for brass life. how about bullet crimping? is it necessary? will it help accuracy? I need to buy dies, and thought about getting the set with the lee crimp die, but if there is no point then id get the collet neck die instead. I am hoping for 1 or 1.5 inch groups at 50 yards.
