I'm looking for some info on this area (BC 3-32), I don't have a lot of time to get a way from work anymore and am wondering if any of you have any experience in this area?
What to look out for, thieves in camps, etc..
Gates blocking roads?, logging etc.. lodging or services nearby?

I've been studying this area for the last three years and intended to go each year, just that work pulled the carpet out from under my feet every year thus far, they always tell me that I can go hunting when were shut down in January (no hunting that time of the year seasons closed, and way to much snow), so this year I'm going and there's nothing they can do about it this year cause I'll just go and they know it.

So any how, I'd like to hear what it's like up there?

Thanks,
Brian

Hunted 3-32 for about 20 years or more. Nice area, lots of mule deer. Late season they can be found on the ridges around Carpenter Lake, earlier they will be higher. Steep but beautiful country if you like hiking. Get up into the alpine & the scenery is tremendous (so is the hunting). Roads, (up till last fall at least), have not been closed.

Thanks, Kean

I'm more so after the California Bighorns in that area, but if I am not successful with them I thought of taking a mule deer on the way back down/out, or maybe a spike swamp donkey. (I think it's only spikes moose allowed up there, why is that?)
How populated are the griz up that way? Does this area have any significant troubles reported about griz and hunters?

I haven't had any troubles with the griz that I have come across in the past, but I sure don't put it past any of them, especially when I've got sheep meat on my back in the pack.

Any cold storage places up that way?
