Anyone ever shoot cast bullets in a 450 Bushmaster?

Anyone ever shoot cast bullets in a 450 Bushmaster? I don't have an AR or semi auto platform, I chose this as an alternative to a 45-70... just simple dumb reloading of a thumper straight wall cartridge. But sheesh the projectiles can still get spendy!

Anyone have any luck with a cast bullet in a 450 Bushmaster? I buy a shwack of 250 grain rnfp for hot 45 colt loads, but I'm still thinking that a 450 Bushmaster is just too hot. I could get into casting and look for something with a gas check if needed, but haven't seen any gas check disks for sale in I don't know how long either.

Anyone else tinker with this at all? Appreciate your insight

I posted my results some time back and to be honest i haven't taken out my .450 since.

The cast bullets i used were from Jet Bullets, which unfortunately has closed its doors, so i will have to find an alternate source.

Time to take it out to the range again.
