Anyone experience this issue with a Henry H001?

Hey all - I noticed that my Henry H001 (22lr) seems to have an issue with the lever hitting the bottom plate against the stock. This has caused the trigger to rub up against the lever:

I reached out to Henry who directed me to Grech. Grech got back to me saying they can fix the trigger rub but can't do anything about the mark on the metal plate. At this point I'm debating sending it to them at all since the reviews are very mixed. Anyone else face this issue and make a fix for it?

I have the same rifle, happened to have it out right now, so I took a look, and even when I squeeze the lever in quite hard, it still clears the plate and the trigger still has plenty of clearance - i'd say at least 3/32". This rifle is only a year old though, was yours always like this? Or did it happen over time?

Yours looks great. I have a close friend that has the carbine big loop and his also has plenty of clearance when pulled tight. I believe this happened over time; the trigger now rubs so it's really not great to pull the trigger with it. Surprised there's no adjustment to be made to the actual lever itself. I could totally file down the trigger a bit but I'm pretty disappointed overall; would think this is a defect in the firearm. It's 2 1/2 years old and has about 150 rounds through it.
