Anyone figured out how to put an 870 forend on an ATA Etro 8 ?

Not too crazy about the forend on the ATA Etro 8 and wondering how much of a pain it would be to mod an 870 forend to fit it ?

Any insight appreciated.

No, I don't believe anyone has done it. You could always find a cheap 870 forend and experiment yourself though.

There does not seem to be much in common between the 2 forends. Might be easier to cut down the ATA forend and graft on some different plastic?

Haven't had a chance to take mine apart yet, was hoping there were more similarities.

The Uzkon and Optima/Escort forends aren't interchangeable.

Each guns bolt and carrier are different.

I'd rather Simon look at it first...
The forends are pinned so I didn't remove them. I just tried an outright full forend assembly swap. So there still is a possibility.

hunterhenderson, how did you swap your two Turkish forends? The whole assembly, or did you remove the pinned forends?
