Some insight....
My comment isn't about the Jericho compact but I hope it might help you. I have a standard non-modified, full length steel-frame Jericho in 40 S&W, and although I very much like the pistol for its handling and balance, I have two beefs with it, one more serious than the other. First and foremost, although the gun performs flawlessly 95% of the time, every so often I experience feed jams especially after having shot about a hundred rounds. Last time at the range the gun jammed twice on me a couple of shots apart. I don't think I'll ever find myself in a sticky situation where that matters but I find that annoying from a combat pistol, especially of Israeli manufacture. They usually take pride in the weapons they make (their survival depends on it also!). I've had alot of guns new, and old (Sigs, Sakos, Berettas, Browings, Walther, H&Ks, etc...) and the only gun that did that to me other than the Jericho were my P.08 Lugers (and the only reason I tolerated that weakness in them was because the Luger's toggle mechanism was well-known to be iffy sometimes contrarily to the P-38, its successor. Also the gun is legendary so that helped me being forgiving!).
As for the feed jam problem, it was never been resolved (haven't taken it to a gun smith yet). Yes, it happened when I used cheap and crappy Blazer rounds but it also happened with high grade swiss ammo, and other better brands (i.e.: Winchester, S&W, etc...). Hope this was helpful. Asta la vista!
