Anyone get a Jericho 941 Compact Yet??...If so...How do you like it??

Some insight....

My comment isn't about the Jericho compact but I hope it might help you. I have a standard non-modified, full length steel-frame Jericho in 40 S&W, and although I very much like the pistol for its handling and balance, I have two beefs with it, one more serious than the other. First and foremost, although the gun performs flawlessly 95% of the time, every so often I experience feed jams especially after having shot about a hundred rounds. Last time at the range the gun jammed twice on me a couple of shots apart. I don't think I'll ever find myself in a sticky situation where that matters but I find that annoying from a combat pistol, especially of Israeli manufacture. They usually take pride in the weapons they make (their survival depends on it also!). I've had alot of guns new, and old (Sigs, Sakos, Berettas, Browings, Walther, H&Ks, etc...) and the only gun that did that to me other than the Jericho were my P.08 Lugers (and the only reason I tolerated that weakness in them was because the Luger's toggle mechanism was well-known to be iffy sometimes contrarily to the P-38, its successor. Also the gun is legendary so that helped me being forgiving!).

As for the feed jam problem, it was never been resolved (haven't taken it to a gun smith yet). Yes, it happened when I used cheap and crappy Blazer rounds but it also happened with high grade swiss ammo, and other better brands (i.e.: Winchester, S&W, etc...). Hope this was helpful. Asta la vista!

Im ordering one this week.

Own a 9mm all steel 2500 ish rounds thru never one FTE or FTF or any issue for that matter, i am a Jericho guy now.
Just got my 45acp last week, 200 rounds 0 issues & i love the whore.

Now i want the Compact

I ordered the 941 Compact Range Kit and Ammo deal from SFRC...Just waiting for the transfer to go through...I'm looking forward to getting it!!!

Pistol looks good although I did not receive the "Range Kit" for some reason.
Worst grips of any gun I've ever handled. Desperately looking for some wood...not going well.
These models have the slide mounted safety which further exacerbates the horrible grip. You can retrofit a frame safety onto this I believe...If you can find one.
I'll get her out this week for a test.

Holster and Mag pouches are coming separately, we forgot to put them in three cases.

There are tons of beautiful grips for Jericho, Hogue sells them. Funny, but for me the grips it comes with feel good. Love the pistol, can't believe it can be that inexpensive.

If I only had more money, I'd definitely buy compact model. For now I own one with a steel frame, and going to buy a polymer version soon. In my opinion Jericho is a great value - very well built, superb ergonomics and accuracy, very nice SA trigger.

Yea i love the stock grips, i own the 9 & 45, compact ordered thru local shop, steel only ones i will buy

Funny story: I love my Jericho, and love the idea of buying a compact in .45

But I absolutely loathe the polymer frame units. They just look and feel like dirt to me. It blows my mind how a steel frame can be "my favorite handgun" and a polymer frame can be "this feels like a hi-point"

the grips are the same as full size.
i found the hogues at gagnon...they have 2 left!
they are approximately 1 million times better than stock.
ymmv

Impressive collection! Don't forget to share your experience about shooting it.

Regarding polymer ones - I really like how they feel in hand, even though they are definitely not as nice as their steel-framed "brothers". And unfortunately only polymer ones can take shoulder stock (exactly the same as for Glock), which I really want to try as a alternative to handgun-caliber carbine.
