Spoke with a couple successful bud's today who are getting their deer heads mounted :) Another one is getting a wolf tanned for a full rug  It got me to wondering who else is getting some taxidermy work done. I've got my whitetail & elk at the taxidermist getting headmounts done on both :D Anyone else getting work done...heads, full mounts, rugs, horn/antler plaques?

I am getting another Whitetail Buck Mounted... and I scooped a beauty male Mink up and it is getting done too.:)
I am gonna shoot a Turkey for the wall in the spring......

Yep, getting my first big buck done. ( the one in my avatar ) Should be ready in 7 or 8 months he says.

By the way, what's your favorite mount form, full upright, semi upright, sneak, half sneak, others?

Also, what kinda prices are you paying for them?

Check this site out fellows! Lots of good pictures and great ideas!

Have a grizz in at the taxi as we speak, just got off the phone with him 5 minutes ago. It'll be ready before the New Year, can't wait it's been 8 months since I've seen it:)

Gettin mine done. Should be ready after christmas. Getting a slight head turn to the animal's left, ears alert. Should be good.

Getting this years whitetail buck done as well. Hope the hide turns out to be alright, it was a week before I was able to skin and freeze it.

Im still trying to figure out what kind of mount I will do... so many options. I think it makes sense to figure out where you are going to hang it so that you can customize it to the room as well. Im not fond of the "sneak" position, and will probably go alert, or semi alert.

I need some pictures of some mounts to give me some ideas!
