Using a 135grn Sierra bullet it's surprisingly hard to find, need data for either Blue Dot or AA#9. Kind of getting the impression they aren't suitable for a bullet that light. If not, powder suggestions are appreciated. I wanna push them fast, but nothing silly. I was thinking 1700fps or so?

EDIT: found some using 800X, some of the velocities are TOASTY

currently loading 135 .400 jhp's & 138 .401 fronteir restruck plated in 40 cal

found longshot & IMR 4756 to work the best, with less recoil from
longshot, according to chart lowest pressures with longshot

Sheesh, I was pushing 175grn silvertips at close to 1400.Why is all the data so wimpy? I know it's usually on the conservative side but that is quite conservative.

Even the data for .40 S & W and Longshot has been detuned sometime after Feb. of 08.....I have some loads listed, and they all have lower min/max powder charges now.
