Anyone have 338 win mag/230gr failsafe loads

Fellows,

I just bought a box of hard to find 230gr failsafes for my 338 win mag and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience reloading these. I'd appreciate any info you have; I'd particularly be looking for max power loads for hunting. Thanks in advance.

My Lee manual has some loads for the 230gr FS.

Reloader 19, Min :67gr 2609fps, Max:72gr, 2790fps, OAL 3.335

I would use data for other powders for a Jacketed 250gr and work up a load to the max for your rifle. H4350, H1000, H4831, start at minimums.

Thanks Blargon. My manuals don't ahve the FailSafe and I was hoping to experiment as little as possible with them due to cost and availability. The load from your Lee manual looks like a great place for me to start.
