Looking to get a .223 - mostly for the range (cheap ammo), but would also use it on the occasional yote/other varmints.
I'm wondering if anyone has picked up the X-Bolt Carbine? I was originally going to get something with at least a medium-heavy barrel to be able to shoot longer strings at the range. That is until I saw a good deal on this combo at a local retailer. I guess I'm a little worried due to the 20" sporter barrel and the 1:8 twist rate. Anyone have comments on accuracy, or good factory loads?
