I'm really thinking about buying the cougar. Anyone have one. Is it gas operated? Do 1100 stocks interchange? Any info would be awesome. Thanks.

Great gun, smooth & low recoil, Clean it well when you first get it. You wont be disappointed with it!

How many rounds have you run thru it and have you try any light 2 3/4 load to see if it cycles properly?

light loads were tempermental at first, A complete cleaning, which i should have done at first, Solved all the problems. My round count is 100 trap loads 50 mixed slug & buck. 3" slugs are very little recoil! The more i shoot it the more im liking it.

Cleaned it well . Took it out today and put 100 2 3/4 trap loads without a hicccup
