I recently got one and while I haven't been out shooting with it I have looked through it a bunch with dryfire. At times I feel it is a bit busy but I can't see it slowing one down. Wish they had a switch to toggle the bdc like other companies allow. The sig 8t has it beat at that. I heavily considered the 8t over the eotech but the good availability of the eotech (have to order the sig), and the fact that I had not looked through an 8t, while having lots of previous eotech experience influenced me towards picking the eotech.
With modern magnifiers, I think having a bdc option on a red dot really helps even the gap between them and lpvos. I believe supersetca recently did a video on this and during the long-distance stage the red dot bdc plus vortex 6x magnifier were only around half a second slower? Eotech g45 5x might also make for a good pair.
