Anyone have a good source for a real M9 bayonet and extras that go with it?

If you're in Vancouver, there's almost always a LanCay available at the HACS shows - there's one this Sunday. Also saw a USMC one (which would be my pref, if I still had AR's) for about $90 but I'm sure you could haggle.

Lancay M9's are the one's that used to be available at Fort Lewis Washington They made most of the M9's. Phrobis was the original contractor and the US government went with LanCay for most of them. I bought many of the new LanCay M9"s after the gulf war ended the first time.

Are the current Canadian Colt (Diemaco) units an M9?

I really want one of these.

Wait, so how hard is it to export a knife from the US to Canada?

Should not be hard as long as it ain't a prohibited blade (read: balisong butterfly knife, knuckles trench knife, et al). I bought and then sold a few Lancay and Ontario M9 bayonets over the years. Never used a single one of them, great to fondle, though.

Cheers,
Barney

The Maple Leaf marking was probably part of Cdn contract. Only way to get one like that would be to steal from the government.

They're crappy bayonets anyway, tang only goes 3/4 of the way down the handle like a Mora.
