Anyone have a kriss super v and how is it ?

I've been wondering that myself. Next time I'm at DVC I'm going to rent it and find out first hand. Either you like how it looks or you hate it. I like that its different looking.

There are a few threads with detailed range reports on this. Use the Search function but make sure you set the date to the last 6 months instead of last 2 weeks.

I just like it because its a unique looking gun and that it shoots a .45acp round and that its non-res and I just wanted some input on it

My Mini review

The Good
  1. NO FELT RECOIL!
  2. It's shoot's cool. Meaning after a hound rounds shooting as fast as you can it's not hot to the touch at all but more like a nice warm feeling.
  3. Makes an odd noise when firing.
  4. Stupid simple to break down and clean.
  5. Takes Glock Mag's
  6. Compact with a cool locking folder.
  7. Takes Magpul AR15 pistol grip inserts.
  8. 4 inch groups at 100 meters is possible all be it hard to do in the standing position because of the really long barrel.
The Bad
  1. The charging leaver on the left hand side renders the rail that is placed underneath it useless.
  2. The rear folding pivot pin moves up and down too much for my liking.
  3. The bottom rail wiggles due to the design of the rail.
  4. No factory sling attachement points any were.
The Ugly
  1. Dis-like the maching marks on the rail.
  2. Think the barrel shroud is pointless.
  3. Although the cool thing is that you can remove the "V" cover on the front and instal a flash light it is only made for SureFire so thats kind of ugly cause it wasn't a generic flash light spot for all brands. Even though I am a SureFire guy threw & through.;)

thanks for the great mini write up. I like SureFire too. But I've bought a Bright Strike Blue Dot and love it. Next two lights I order will be Bright Strike.

Could you explain that one a bit more, please? I don't see why.
When you instal the optional rail it only has 1 or 2 cm of clearance before the charging handel.

So you can't realy use the charging handel if you have anything installed on the rail. Trust me we tried for hours last night tring to put something on there after me and my friend made the side rails.

Oh, right, I thought you meant the VG/laser rail that is under the gun.

What about the other side of the gun...? It has the same threaded holes. The folding stock would limit the length of whatever you would install on that rail though.

Yep we put an 800 lumena light on it and the folder just about touched it. This design was ment to be compact so large bulky things are not what it was design for.
