Looking if anyone has any real experience with the NEF 22 youth gun with the extra 410 barrel. Are they drilled and tapped for a scope? Looking to buy one for a new shooter and am wondering where to get a great deal on one. I know Epps had some in the past but didn't see any on their website. Thanks, Peter.

I have a Rossi that I did up for my grouse gu.....ummmm.....daughters rifle. Bobbed the hammer off and installed a home-made spur, had it drilled and tapped, put a .22 mini-mag scope (I paralax corrected it for 15 yds) and a home-made "side-saddle"
I did it up so she could shoot it, but I've taken to carrying it loaded with CB's for grouse. Great little gun, and yes, the newer versions are drilled/tapped.

Bought at Epps, cost was less than 200 bucks including the .410 barrel.
The pic really doesnt show how tiny it is though.....put it this way, the scope is only 7" long!
BTW, just weighed it. As pictured its 4.6 lbs.
