I have owned, and used in Production, a stainless LDA Limited in 9MM.
For a 'double action only' type of trigger, it is quite intuitive and easy to shoot well...Once you get used to the large amout of movement required for each shot. For quick, upper close multiple shots, it didn't seem to slow me down, and on the longer, 'precision' shots, it actually made me take time to shoot more accurately.
The gun is 'combat' accurate, and has been reliable as hell for several 1000 rounds. With the heft of a full size, all steel 1911, the lack of recoil in 9MM
means it is a pussycat to shoot and gets you back on target quickly.
The overall quality on the Paras is on a par with stock Sprinfields and Colts.
Havining said all of this, the only advantage I can see in choosing the LDA over a classic SA would be for use in IPSC Production.
