Anyone have a Ruger 10/22 compact?

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of putting together another super shorty 10/22 build and am considering using a stock off the compact model. I am wondering though if it will affect my non-restricted status.

If someone out there has a compact and can measure from the rear of the receiver to the butt end and let me know what it comes to, it would be greatly appreciated.

And if anyone has a line on a stock itself please let me know. So far the EE has yet to produce for me.

I'm running a 12" flask bull barrel with a magpul x22 hunter, and I'm over 26" with buttstock spacers removed

662mm...cut the stock a wee bit too short and had to scab on a walnut butt plate to make it legal OAL.

For the benefit of people searching this thread in the future, I found a stock off a compact model as well as a Charger barrel and the whole package comes in at 27.5" so I am pretty happy about that. I am not so happy that I've had some expenses come up and am going to have to sell it, as it is a really sweet little package and took me a long time to source all the parts. Oh well, there will always be one more...
