Anyone have one? They are a tiny little .22 single, could be considered a youth gun. My father has one in rough shape. I would love to find one for myself. Great little bunny gun and an excellent sidekick for checking traplines ( I am thinking of taking up trappping fro fun/gun money)

Anyway, this isn't a wanted ad... just looking to see if there are any around, but if you do have one for sale... lemme know.

Here is a pic i found online:

I have a 1904. They're quite similar. Mine however appears to have a shot out barrel! :( The case will slide in most of the way from the muzzle end. and there appears to be little or no riflings. The accuracy is horrible! I don't think they made it in smoothbore?

Here's a pic I found online.

1902

I have 2 of the 1902's, and one of the 1904. Basically the same, but the 1904 has a heavier barrel. You can still buy an unfinished stock from Boyd's for these for about 45 bucks US. I may be persuaded to part with one of the 1902's, and if you are interested pm me with your e-mail address and I will send you some pics. Later.

I have a 1902 and a 1904. My 1902 is quite accurate, but will only extract the shorts. There appears to be some errosion in the chamber past the short case dimensions. My father-in-law says that about the time that these rifles were popular, short ammo was about $.25 a box of fifty. As a result of this, the barrels get a little shot out, and the longer cases expand at the end and won't extract easily. Still it's a neat little rifle, somewhat worn, but what can you expect for a kids gun that is 70-100 years old.

Closest I have is a model 12 pump action .22, and it is a sweet little gun.
It came with what you needed, no mods necessary.

I just found a barrel for one of these in my father - in - laws junk room. I would love to find a trigger assembly and bolt for it. I think I found a stock that will fit.Might be a fun project

The bolt and trigger maybe available from a parts supplier... you would be surprised wha t some of them have. Try Western Gun Parts.

If you should find a bolt the trigger is quite simple and is just pinned to the stock.

well I just received one from another CGNer. It is in decent shape, but the bore is terrible (which I was warned about before buying) so if anyone has one in rough shape with a good bore I am interested.
Or just a good one. :D
