It's the new year and I want to put together a new AR. I am looking at the Rainier Arms MOD 3 billet upper and lower receiver combo, looks awesome and is a reasonable price compared with other billet receivers from the big names. (Noveske, B.A.D., VLTOR, etc...) I'm also considering one of their 16" middy CHF mountain barrels.
Having never purchased anything from them before I was wondering if any of my fellow gun nutz have any experience with Rainier products good or bad?
Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Rainer makes some good stuff, I don't have any of their barrels, BUT their Mountain barrels are FN hammer forged CMV blanks with the double thick chrome lining (M249 spec they say). So their mountain barrels may not be the most accurate ever, but they will last a seriously long time.
