Anyone have experience with the Numrich ZF-41 repro scope mount on a K98?

I believe that gun writer Mike Venturino has written on that scope. It is very hard to adjust and zero, not much of a practical scope. Hard to believe that the techno-savvy Germans would come up with such a loser of a design.

If you read any of the books written by German Snipers in WW2, they mention the ZF-41 as being an absolute joke and universally hated by the troops.

You want the solder-on mount that replaces a k98 sight base, not the tacky ramp insert ones. The ramp inserts aren't solid and put the scope at the wrong height.

Accumount makes good rings and the scopes can be bought from zib militaria in Germany. They ship them here.
