I've looked everywhere and I can't find my new Hornady reloading guide (wife put it somewhere...:rolleyes: ). I'm trying to find the data (starting , max and FPS) for the .243 Win. with a 75 grn Vmax with Varget powder. I have my older guide but it doesnt list that powder or bullet. I've got a pretty good idea on what the starting and max were but I dont want to go ahead until I double check. So if someone has it and can post that info for me it would hugely appreciated. My 13 yr old shot the last of his ammo off tonight at a Coyote and we are going to do up some new stuff for him.

Thanks
Tim

Tim;
I have the Hornady 6th edition. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a scan of the page in question.

I have the sixth edition, it doesn't list any loads for 75gr V-max over varget (58gr and 65gr bullets only). I'm not sure if sixth is the latest edition or not though.

From Lee 2nd edition, 75gr jacketed bullet, staring load 36.0gr @3246fps, max load 38.5gr @3408fps.

Thanks for the replys guys. Hodgdon has updated their site with a new reloading section that has the info. If you haven't been on their site recently its deffiantly worht the visit. A member of another forum I'm on just let me know about this a few minutes ago. It looks like they pretty much duplicated the data from the Lee book Workin Man posted.

Thanks again
Tim

Ditto for the 7th edition. No mention of 75gr V-max over varget. I'll scan and send if you'd like.

Sorry about that. Guess it wasn't of much help. I did find info in the Lyman 48th edition handbook Reloading Handbook. :) The load listed using Varget and a 75gr jacketed HP is the most accurate load 'they' had with that bullet weight. Starting load of 37.0gr to a max of 41gr. I'll send you a scan of the data.
