Found a decent price for one (I think)but can’t find any info on them online anywhere other then there over/under style not for the pump action. Curious if it’s a decent gun at all?

I had one for awhile, it was a very well made, nicely finished gun. It was Beretta’s attempt to catch some of the huge US market for pump shotguns but it was too expensive to compete successfully with the moderately priced well established American makes so it was discontinued after a short run. It worked perfectly, I shot it well but in the end I’m not a pump gun guy so it went to a more appreciative owner, a discriminating lady who shoots it well and loves it.

There's very little info on them. Even Beretta wants to forget they made them. Decent gun but a commercial flop as the American market refused to pay more for an Italian import than a domestic. How times have changed

I have a model 151 marked for the army. I don't speak Italian to read the inscription on the reciever but it's basically a shorter stocked field gun. What I've found out is the silver pigeon pumps had longer stocks and different stampings. There were several grades made. Silver diamond and ruby. Beretta doesn't like to admit to even making them as it seems when questioned they only mention they're military pump guns. If you compare the drop in comb to say a wingmaster or 500 field you'll notice the Beretta is much lower. If that style suits you they're a good gun for the money but there are no parts available

I also had one for a few years. It was a typical Beretta with a good design , excellent finish
and worked like a dream. I sold it to a friend who still has it.

Never heard of them before!
