Looking at one of the Schultz & Larsen 6.5x55 target rifles from Tradeex Canada. They are m52 through m69 I believe...Does anyone have one? Do you like it? Accuracy? Not really sure of what to expect from one of these rigs, but I really am digging the ones on the original mauser stocks

I've got an M-69, haven't shot it much or worked up a load for it, but I do like it. I bought one of the similar Schujltz and Larsen single shot 22's to get some practice with the sights before shooting the 6.5 a bunch. Mines a target stock one.

The 6.5 gun, does it seem well put together? What does preliminary accuracy look like? Are the sights standard target apertures?

It's definitely well built. Schultz and Larsen have a pretty decent reputation in Europe for high quality rifles. Getting used to the sights and using factory ammo I think I was around 1.5" - 2" or so at 100 yards. That was the first time shooting a rifle with aperture sights, and the target wasn't exactly ideal. Long list of excuses, I know. Mine has a pretty nice adjustable 2 stage trigger, and standard 18mm anschutz inserts work in the front sight. Can't use an adjustable iris in the rear sight though, the bolt handle would hit it. Overall, I'd say they're a bargain. There's a couple others on the forum that have them too, maybe they'll chime in here, or you could try a search and see what comes up. I know there was one guy that refinished his and it turned out really nice.
