Anyone have SKS stripper clips?

Greetings,

I just ordered the $75 SKS deal with ammo from Marstar and found out the ammo does not come on stripper clips. Does anyone have surplus stripper clips that they are throwing away or selling really cheap? Would like to work out some sort of deal and I will gladly pay for shipping. Don't need a boatload, but I guess 50-100 would do.

Hey matt, dealers sell them, but its best to check you range as most people just throw them on the ground.

Back when the Czech surplus started rolling in everyone and their grandma had a case of it. You couldn't give 7.62x39 stripper clips away back then. I bet most gun nuts on CGN had a pile of them kicking around somewhere.

I too am ordering the Marstar SKS deal, and will be starting fresh, so no stripper clips. If anyone has extra I would be more than willing to pay for shipping. (or pickup if local!)

I had the same issue, hit the range days before it snowed and snagged a bunch. If you buy an sks from either marstar or whoever, the gun should come with the oiler, cleaning kit and one stripper clip

Just order a case of 7.62 from wolverine and you'll get all the stripper clips you need, and get a case of the cheapest 7.62 in the country at the same time.

Indeed, especially since Tradex is selling 1000 rounds (not on strippers, though) for $195 shipped. For 25% lower cost, I will deal with no stripper clips.

So it begs the question, " Is Sellier and Bellot ammo 20% better than soviet?". Anyone here with actual experience?

if anyone in Edmonton needs stripper clips, i can give you some. I tossed a five gallon pail of them into the metal recycling bin last summer. I still have a many handfulls of them left, but its not worth my time or effort to get them to the post office. PM me, i'm all over the city within any week.

Can you SKS shooters please enlighten me?....if the mag is pinned at 5, what's the point of a 10 round stripper clip?
