I got a original army beechwood stock from Corwin Arms a while back. It seems the buttstock metal parts from the plastic stocks are too small for the wood ones. Anyone buy and install these stocks?

My guess is that these stocks are not real Czech military stocks... Only the first 500 or so vz58 stocks were real wood and some how these guys Lined up a few hundred. Sounds mighty fishy.

500 stocks where did you hear that? Till mid 60s they were all wood way more then 40000 made. Butt stock metal heel usually needs some fitting. Finding original metal butt stock heels is very hard. I got my stock from corwin and they gave me all metal hardware no charge it needed 5 minutes of sanding to fit but it is nothing

That's what they told me in the Czech Republic when I was looking for a wood stock... I was laughed at many times for even asking.

Oh, and when I did find one, it didn't need any sanding.

There is almost non in Czech Republic most of them were sold to Belgian dealer in 2007 Czech Army surplus auction. When we were getting few out of Czech rep we only got incompleate sets no upper hand guards. When they could find few they were priced like brand new mercedes benz but luckly for us they were not made in Czech Republik but in Czechoslovakia. So when we looked in the old other half meaning Slovakia we found few crates of them. Most of the wood was manufactured in the 1960s however there are newer blond beech sets from the 80s apperently some canceled Arab Contract. Most darker sets or mismatched we were selling crates were marked with 1960s stamps on the crates. The last shippment we had the light blond stock were from 1980 marked crate but they all sold out very fast
