I've got a bunch of .22 trainers but don't have a Cooey. I see them at the gun shows, pick them up, try the trigger and put it back down.
Truly horrible.

Real nice walnut 2 piece stock without stamps .

Cooey 82

A Cooey Model 82 in VG to Exc condition can go for more than $200.
I have a couple of them and one has a beautiful Tiger Stripe stock and both have peep sights. I also have a couple of peep sights for them in my parts.

Who made the peep sight for these?

I'm sure Cooey made the peepsights. They are adjustable, but rather basic. The M82s shoot quite well, but keep in mind that they are a Cooey "Senior" in a paramilitary stock.
Has anyone seen one of the other Cooey trainers that has a butt which is contoured like a SMLE? Not a M82. I've seen photos of one, and my son has seen an actual specimen.
