Anyone here own a Remington 11-87 20 gauge and if so how do you like it?

Lets start by saying I love my 1100's and 870 wingmasters. I'm in the market for a 20 gauge for waterfowling so 3" is important. I know I could try and find a used 1100 20 gauge but they are few and far between on the used market and I'm only just starting to look into what I want.
I have heard some horror stories about the supermag 1187's but the few people that I know with them have had very good luck. I know Remington has its qc issues but I only buy guns I can handle and disassemble before purchasing so I think that can avoid some of the possible headaches. My only concern is the lack of reviews on the 20 gauge version.
I know I could get by with a Weatherby, a Franchi or Winchester and be satisfied but I like to try and buy North American made when I can. So how has yours served you?

I have a 20 ga. 11-87, mfg'd in about 2007. Functions great at both trap & skeet and last fall when I took it duck hunting. It is the Sportsman model, so it appears to be less finely finished. But functions perfectly well.

Have had a few 1187 12ga but no 20.
That being said if I was looking for a new 20ga semi it would be a Browning Silver and you know I have remington stamped on my head. Those I have shot and they work some sweet
Cheers

My wife has the 11-87 20ga Sportsman Compact and she loves it. Comes with extra butt spacers for longer arms.
So far, 200 rounds of the lightest to heavy and not one hiccup except that Walmart Winchester Universal crap. Thin aluminum heads and plastic hulls ripping off fail to extract. I now avoid this ammo in any gun.

I'll try and do a youtube on it with various ammo later.
