Anyone here thinking of doing a take down STAG 10?

I'm thinking hard about making a backpackers stag10.
it states repeatable accuracy within 1 moa.
Dumb idea?

I just thought it would be sweet to have two 20" sections instead of one 30" long upper.

I think it's a cool idea, but I do have some scheptisim of take down ARs. I also have no real experience with them.

I say just send it and get the kit. Then you can let the rest of us know how it is. I'm curious about the weight of the system. I'd also be curious about the accuracy claim. I.e. If you have a 0.5 Moa gun will it hold 0.5 Moa?

I'm doing a lightweight build so maybe I can afford to add that weight just to sacrifice in the name of science. Also, I think their claim is to be understood as follows: If your gun is 0.5 MOA, The worst it could be is 1.5 MOA with the kit.

I think the gun will remain 0.5 MOA but the POA may wander by up to 1 MOA.

Yes that actually makes more sense. It also states that a big majority of handguards will be compatible unlike the dolos system which has a proprietary handguard system.
