Anyone here use deer urine scents?

Im looking to step up my game this year and decided to try out some scents to use as a cover and an attractant. I mostly hunt mulies and I know they don't respond as well as white tails, but does anyone have a preference for brands and techniques? I spot and stalk, and have a lot of stuff I carry as well so I'm rigging up an automatic sprayer from a glade air freshener that I can attach to my pack and let it do the work for me.

Think this is a good idea? I realize that if my cover is blown by wind then they are likely to take off anyways, but every little bit helps I figure.
 
when a deer urinates in his scrape, he dribbles it down his back legs and it takes on the tarsal gland scents. this is what mainly attracts does and warns other bucks. I have widdled in a scrape and the buck came and sniffed unalarmed , then proceeded to leave his own. But i have taken the glands off a shot buck and tied them to a length of rope and dragged them as i walked to my stand. The first buck followed my trail with hair standing up on his back and neck. He thrashed many shrubs as he walked. Urine or tarsal?
 
Thats some good info, thanks. Looks like there are tarsal gland mixes available too.
My intention is to do what you did, leave a nice trail of scent but without having to actually drag anything

We've had some luck harvesting tarsal glands as well. Used to cut them out and hang them downwind of our stands as a cover scent/attractant.
