Anyone Hunting with German #1 Reticle?

I prefer the #4 myself and use it on my 1.5-5 Leupy. I like how the thick lines stand out and the crosshairs center my eye.

The #1 seems less cluttered, but if thick brush is the intent I would think it would be easier to loose your alignment points in a low light situation.

Quite the opposite actually, they are excellent in low light, thick cover, point and shoot type situations. Its a very bold aiming point yet with the fine point can still be accurate, I have a few scopes with the #1 reticle as wells as t post reticles, like them very much myself.

I have the #1 reticle on my fixed 8 power scope. Where the vertical reticle ends in a triangular point, that is illuminated in desired degrees of intensity. My favourite scope for stand and blind hunting at ranges 75 to 300 yards. Fast target acquisition if you do your part.
