Anyone ID this 8 shot .22 mag...

It appears to be .22 short..
numbered on the bottom
8 shot: marked at 5 and 8 rounds.
tapered about half way from the rear to the front of the mag
Just cannot remember where I got it or what it is for
HELP !!!

I'm not 100% sure but looks like a Russian Margolin Mag

looks to me like 8 rnds Beretta

90% identical to my Margo mags 'cept for the base plate and pinched sides.
Images from the net say it's for the Margolin in 22 short.

Thanks....I think you nailed it with the Vostok Margolin. I know it is .22 short and suspected Russian but just could not place it.
I have another mag in .22 short for a Hi-Standard as well.
