Just wondering if there’s people out there casting and selling the finished bullets. I had a company made a custom mold but neither have the time nor the tools to cast myself. Would probably pay 30-50c per for a finished (resized and hi tek coated).

A lot of us cast. I have 122 moulds so most stuff is covered. What are you looking for ? Someone on here should be able to help you out.

I've had good luck on EE for odd sized bullets (269 for Carcano). They didn't come powdercoated, just lubed. Prairie Projectiles powdercoats their cast bullets. I've never ordered from them online, but have bought 2 or 3 times from him at Gun Shows. I hope to get into casting in the future, but for now, EE works for me

It is a lot of work to salvage lead from berms or garages then refine it to bars. then cast then powdercoat then resize then power coat again sort and ship. Offering 30$ per thousand cause you dont have the time is like expecting someone to work their spare time for you for 2 dollars or so an hour.

To be fair the OP offered $0.30-$0.50 each = $30-50/100 = $300-500/thousand

The math says 30 cents per = $300/1000. Cast, sized, coated and the cost of materials, that would be a low price for larger bullets. Lead seems to be going nowhere but up in price. At $2 a pound for lead 300 gr .45’s would be 9 cents for soft lead alone plus alloy for harder cast, plus powder coating, plus time for casting, sizing, coating etc.
