anyone know anythig about N.R.DAVIS&CO.

I have an NR Davis SxS de-activated on my mantle. It came to me used and did not have Damascus barrels. Shot three boxes of birdshot through it and spilt a chamber. Seems the chambers were soft soldered sleeves, and the RH sleeve split. Looks nice on the mantle now.....
 
i have one made my N.R Davis & Sons its an older SxS with fluid Steel barrels not damascus, if its got damascus tubes i wouldnt shoot it. would it be possible to post some pictues of this bad boy?

Also made guns under Sears, Roebuck brand names. In 1917 they merged with Warner Arms Co. changing their name to Davis-Warner Arms, they became inactive about 1921. In 1930 they merged again with Crescent Arms Co. becomming Crescent-Davis Arms Co. They were again purchased by J. Stevens Arms Co. in 1932. Stevens was absorbed by Savage Arms Co. of Westfield Mass. in 1936.

You can either attach the image to your message using the "Insert Image" button at the top of the message window (looks like a yellow box with mountains), or you can host the file at one of the internet image hosting sites and stick the URL (or "internet address") into your message using the "Insert Link" tool (looks like a globe with 2 links of chain in front).
