Hello all. I picked this up recently at auction. The rib is marked Bernard Muller Zurich. Just wondering if anyone has any history regarding shotguns by Muller. I asked on another forum, but no one responded. Likely be the same here but thought I'd ask. I know Bernard Muller was known for pistols in the late 1800's, early 1900's but I haven't been able to find anything out regarding shotguns. It has a Germanic look to it so I was wondering if maybe the guns were produced by a German firm and branded Bernard Muller Zurich. It has Suhl proof marks. Though not highly engraved, it is a well made gun and it handles beautifully. I assume the 1033 on the proofs means October of 1933?

The two people I would check with are. Raimey Ellenberg on Double Gun (Ellenbr) and Eddie von Atzingenif he’s still alive. He is/was a Swiss born and trained highly skilled gunsmith working out of Peterborough. My guess is he retired about 7 years ago.
