I've got to disagree on this one, I don't think they're as good as the P226. I shot one of the Zastava CZ99s pretty extensively and I was underwhelmed. From the picture on that site they've finally fixed the problem with the trigger pull, which was too short. It's got one of those stupid loaded chamber indicators that protrudes as a pin from the top of the slide, and it causes malfunctions. The sights have tritium filled rods (I think it's tritium), and they fall out, plus they aren't really of much help in aligning the sights at night because they're vertical rods, rather than dots.
It always felt more clunky in my hands than a P226, but in fairness the one I used to use had wood grips which were quite bulky. The decocking levers aren't as postive as on the P226.
But really my major complaint was the trigger pull, too short, stacked too much. Jammed too much for my liking, although I'm sure it would be better if you removed the loaded chamber indicator. It caused failures to feed, or delayed chambering. I also got stovepipes.
