Okay, so I have a new .32 caliber drop-in from Green Mountain for my TC Hawken. Perfect; just what I wanted for plinking gophers and tin cans. Only thing is, I hate screwing around with patches.

So... this is a quick twist barrel anyways - does anyone know anything about the existance of a .32 conical? I'm not planning on hunting game with it, but a conical would take care of patch issues. I know Buffalo has the ball-et or whatever they call it, but I've never seen a mould.

I can get a mould made cheap at Mountain Moulds, but I would need some idea of dimensions for lube grooves and whatnot.

That's a great idea putting a GM .32 barrel. At next years Rondy at Heffley Creek they are planning to have a "squirrel gun" shoot..40 cal and smaller.
Squirrel guns are hard to find, whereas a person use a T/C withe the smaller cal.
Cheers nessy.
Yeah, but like I said, I want to cast my own bullets rather than paying silly prices for Buffalo's swaged bullets. The idea is to make shooting cheaper, not more expensive.

I could scale down a .54 conical to .32 and send the dimensions off to some mould maker, but I see some danger in that...
