Was wodering if anyone has had one or seen one but i really found a little gem, the gun fits nice the oil finish is beautiful, and built on a mauser action how can you go wrong, unless it does not shoot lol.
But really its the first i had in my hands and it a nice little rifle light and looks like a great quality piece, howeve i know nothing about the gun.

The wood is fantastic and built in a 7mm mag.

Please post pictures, I ask as I am told that Voere utilised Brno ZG47 actions in the early days on some of their rifles(as did Parker Hale).

Give huntinstuff or Doug a pm. I think they both have had several! How are things?

Dave.

I Have An Older Cougar Voere In 7mm. Rem Mag. I Think Its One Of Their Light Mountain Varients. It Has A 1 In 10" Twist Rate And Does Not Seem To Stabilize 160 And 175 Grain Bullets To Well. A Bullet Stabilization Formula I Got From A Blog By Anarchangle:
150 X Diameter Squared, Divided By Bullet Length = Required Spin
Suggests A Shorter Bullet Will Work Better. Some Info If You Google Voere

have a voere in titan 2 shot very well - full stock
smooth action - all good
actauly have it up fpr trade just to nice to drag in the bush with me

sounds like you have the older Voere built with a Mauser action, does it have a tang safety?

There was a later version called the Titan which is a 3 lug (or is it a 4 lug?) action with detachable mag....these are very nice. This is the one that was sold by KDF as the Kleingunther K-15 for a while.

I have a Voere 2185 semi-automatic 30-06 hunting rifle....it too 'prefers' bullets of 168 grains or less.

Short throat I suspect.
Guess the average Euro hunter, if he needs a heavier bullet, will grab a 9.3 mm instead.

Mine too has a pencil thin barrel.....but is very accurate, until it heats up.

It's got the strangest trigger, that is externally adjustable.

I have two rifles with Voerre actions that are kind of a semi-production run called Black Forest they were made in Yakima, Washington.

One is a 308 Norma Mag and the other was a 243 that I rechambered to a 6mm-284.

Awesome actions and very accurate rifles...

Hey Rembo; yep it's an older model with a mauser action and tang safty. Voere still makes the 2165 as far as I know but only offers .308 Win not the Norma Magnum. If I had the time and money I wouldn't mind making another .308 Norma Magnum though.

I have a Voere in 7mm Rem Mag. I've owned it since about 1970. There are lots of other rifles in the gun boxes nowadays, but it's still my primary "go to" shooter. I guess no complaints in almost 40 years is a two thumbs up review.
