Anyone know what this rifle would be worth?

It’s a Mannlicher-Schoeauer 6.5x55 but I have no idea what it’s worth to list it properly on the exchange.

I learn something every day. Can't help you with value, but I thought is was a Krag–Jørgensen, with what I think are Swedish crowns.

Ya, nothing to do with Mannlicher, a Krag in 6,5. I think 300-350 would be pushing it.

Krag rifle but with that barrel stamp I would say it was rebarreled to 6,5 MS. I would try putting the 6.5swed in. Shouldn't fit if rebarrelled. A good gunsmith should be able to tell you what cartridge it takes.

I have seen Krags in 6.5x54 before. Not real common but out there. I notice this particular rifle is stamped with both designations, 6.5x55 and 6.5x54, so I would be checking the chamber before sticking a 6.5x54 into it. It may well be a 6.5x54 barrel which was re-chambered. Value is what someone will pay for it.

Someone yanked it off a MS and stuck it on a krag is all.

Definitely a Krag...you might want to show it on the Milsurp forum as well.
Unfortunately, there is not much demand for bubba'd Krag rifles. Too bad, their action is one of the smoothest ever made.

Yes it was rechambered for a 6.5x55

I've seen some of these for sale locally for around $600 in decent shape.
